Check in attendees with a QR code

Open the correct event’s check-in workspace, scan a pass and confirm the checkpoint and number of places. Reading a booking QR does not use up its places.

Before guests arrive

Sign in as the organiser or accept your check-in helper invitation. Open the correct event and its check-in workspace. Test camera permission and internet access on the phone you will use.

Choose entry or the activity you are checking people into. Keep that checkpoint in mind throughout your shift. An entrance admission should not use up a photo or workshop place.

Read, check, confirm

Use Scan and start the camera. Ask the guest to show their booking QR. If the camera is unavailable, use the manual code option or the door list.

  1. Check that the pass belongs to this event and review the remaining places.
  2. Confirm who is here. Adjust the headcount or activity quantity if only part of the group is attending now.
  3. Check the named action, then confirm admission.
  4. Read the result before letting people through. Start the next scan when ready.

If part of a group comes later

Unused places remain on the booking. A buyer can send a capped pass to someone else, but it is not an exclusive transfer: the original buyer can still use the common remaining balance.

A shared pass can never exceed its own allowance or the actual remaining places. Do not count a screenshot or another copy of a QR as an extra ticket.

If something goes wrong

Do not repeatedly confirm while the connection is uncertain. Recheck the balance and recorded result. An organiser can review and correct a mistaken check-in; helpers have narrower permissions.

StandWith does not currently provide offline scanning or cash ticket issuance. Agree an exception process with the organiser before the event.
